Fountain (1958-60)

Fountain portrays a standing figure in a slight dancing motion, represents a modern image of the antique goddess Artemis, patron of wild forests and hills. According to mythology, she resides in the wild areas near springs, taking care of their curative powers. In the spa town of Poděbrady she watches over the colonnade.
